Information

The PPA market is stabilising after several years of disruption, though procurement strategies are evolving fast. As standalone solar PPAs become more challenging, activity is shifting toward co-located projects, mixed-technology portfolios, and operational assets. Corporate demand remains strong, fuelled by data centre growth, but buyers face increasingly complex negotiations, changing regulation, and new approaches to managing capture risk.

BESS Flexibility Purchase Agreements (FPAs) have evolved into a mature, rapidly growing market, enabling utilities and energy traders to integrate larger volumes of renewable generation while monetising volatility. As demand grows for shaped and 24/7 renewable power, battery flexibility is becoming a critical enabler of offtake strategy. In the first part of this session, Pexapark will cover market trends, deals and pricing; in the second, revenue structures and transaction insights. This will be followed by networking drinks.
