Energy Buyers Bootcamp: Supply Chain Power Play

Emissions exposure is increasingly becoming a financial risk. In this hands-on group challenge, participants act as a corporate sustainability team facing rising customer, regulatory (CSRD, CBAM), and investor pressure to decarbonize. Working in small groups, they build a Scope 3 strategy for a fictional manufacturer, then face the harder task: pitching it to the company's CFO.

With a fixed budget on the table, each group builds a case centered on the ROI of decarbonization, cost, risk removed, and return, and presents it to a CFO roleplayer who decides whether to fund it.
